The Palm and the Lines
What makes the human hand so humans? It is the length of the fingers in proportion to the palm and the length and mobility of the thumb. It should come as no surprise to us, but it does that the shape, size, and even the lines on the hand are genetically determined. That is the genes that give us others physical characteristics, the color of eyes, texture of hair, complexion, body shape of fingernails, both of which we shall be considering in delineating character from the hands. Disease. Arthritis, thyroid malfunction or other disorders can afflict the fingernails, but what we look at in the hand is destiny as revealed by inherited human characteristic.
The Life Line
The Life line is one line you will always find on the palm. It begins on the side of the palm between the thumb and index finger and heads down the middle of the palm along the base of the thumb. Usually, but not always. It is distinct. Sometimes it is doubled or even tripled. It can be quite short or very long. All these characteristics have special meaning – as do the markings along it.
Palmist
Palmist is also called palmistry or experts prefer terms such as chirognomy, chirology, or chiromancy from the Greek word cheir, meaning hand. Palmist is a method of predicting the future by reading the marks on person’s palm, but which also includes an analysis of hand shape, fingers and fingernails.
The Life Line Special Markings
There are some special marking at the Life Line, and have different meaning as below:
An Island means hospitalization or other closing in, for a time, of the energy or life situation, because a serious mishap
A break means an accident or serious illness or sudden change in the life situation

The life line is best if long and clearly marked. this shows good health, vitality, and reasonable life expectancy
